Thorleifur Gunnar Gíslason is an Icelandic graphic design student, currently studying at the Iceland Academy of the Arts. He is currently freelancing along with his education. Gíslason’s style is a blend of Scandinavian and Swiss style with focus on forms, balance and repetition.
The gift wrapping paper features two seperate topics. Scandinavian birds and fish species portrayed in geometric style using simple shapes such as triangles and circles. The second topic is altitude lines of glaciers with various weather symbols.
The idea is to have an annual collection, differentiating itself with a changing color palette.
